- Film Editing - a part of the film making process that involves selecting shots of film an joining them together
- Frame - a single image that makes up a motion picture. 24 frames are needed to make 1 second of film
- Shot - a continuous strip of motion picture film created from a series of frames that runs for an uniterupted period of time
