My Essential Question is- how do you make a informational video?

My foundation questions are-

How do you edit the film
how do you create the voice over
what equipment do you need
what is the best format for the video
how do i get the movie onto a disc
what software do you use to edit the film
how do you get the film off of the camera

Film Editing - a part of the film making process that involves selecting shots of film an joining them together
Frame - a single image that makes up a motion picture. 24 frames are needed to make 1 second of film
Shot - a continuous strip of motion picture film created from a series of frames that runs for an uniterupted period of time
rough cut - The editor's first pass at assembling the shots into a film, before tightening and polishing occurs.
final cut - The finished edit of a film, approved by the director and the producer. This is what the audience sees.
Adobe Premere Pro CS4 - a video editing program that has many features to make editing easy
fade - A visual transition between shots or scenes that appears on screen as a brief interval with no picture. Usually represents a change in time and place.
cross cutting - Cutting back and forth quickly between two or more lines of action, indicating they are happening simultaneously.
Dissolve - A gradual scene transition. The editor overlaps the end of one shot with the beginning of the next one.
Establishing shot - A shot, normally taken from a great distance or from a "bird's eye view," that establishes where the action is about to occur.
